The location was super convenient, and the staff were nice enough to keep our luggage until 9pm. We arrived a little early, around noon, but our room was already ready, which really helped since we had heavy bags. It was small, but the beds were comfortable.

I arrived early and was able to leave my bag. By the time the room was ready, they'd already moved it there, and check-in went smoothly. The location is perfect, with loads of restaurants, markets, and museums nearby. Rooms are basic but have plenty of space, and the bathrooms are nice. Great hostel and service, I'd highly recommend it.

The location was great, on a pleasant square with plenty of bars and cafes, where a large beer costs about €3-4. It's easy to find, and the airport taxi took around 30 minutes and cost €30. The hostel is on the third floor of a historic building, but there is a lift. Reception staff were efficient and helpful. It was a ten-minute walk to the Palace and twenty minutes to the Prado. Our room was comfortable and very clean, with a comfortable bed, balcony, TV with no English channels, lots of storage and hangers, and a safe. The bathroom had a shower only, with no plug for the bath. Everything was well maintained, and we were very happy.

The rooms have decent space, comfortable beds, and a shower with good hot water pressure. There’s an elevator up to the hostal on the third floor, above another place with a similar name. The price is hard to beat, though you shouldn’t expect a fancy suite. It’s right in the centre, and you’d miss a lot of Madrid if you spent all your time in the room. The photo was taken during a Holy Week procession.
