Hostal Luis XV

I checked in for one night and came back at midnight, but the receptionist said he couldn’t check me in until morning. I’ve never had that happen anywhere. Usually at a normal place on Planet Earth, you can check in anytime after 3 and check out by 12. I asked where he expected me to sleep and explained I’d already paid for the stay, so I should get the room keys, but he couldn’t do anything. I had to book another place that was at least acceptable. The receptionist was very rude and uneducated, looked like he was on drugs, and was missing a few teeth. The place was very sketchy and disgusting. Don’t go there unless you want to deal with uneducated and unhelpful people. Peace. Also, the building doesn’t look like what’s shown on Google. It’s one floor in that building.

I stayed one night before heading to America. The hotel was nice, clean, and centrally located, with nice service. A door had a minor malfunction, but staff fixed it in under five minutes. All good here.

The view and location were good, and the room was clean. There was a bad smell, probably coming from the air conditioner, but I still had a decent stay.

I come back nearly every year because it's clean and such good value. There's no restaurant, but it's a great place to stay. Just please replace the room's blackout curtains. Highly recommend.
