Hostal Prada

The reception staff were really kind, and my room was clean. It’s in a super central spot and feels like a great hostal for the price. The walls are thin, though, so it can get noisy.

The team made me feel at home, and Andres deserves a special thank you. It’s a central place with basic but comfortable rooms and great service.

The rooms are plain, but the price felt fair for a simple, clean place to stay. If you’re only there for a night like I was, or spending the day out exploring Madrid, it makes sense. I’d say it shouldn’t cost more than 80 euros a night. There’s noise from outside, the neighbors, and the hallway, so keep that in mind if noise bothers you. It’s like a clean, basic two-star hotel. The location is very central and convenient, the place is spotless, and the hosts are kind and helpful.

I was happy to spend less on the room and keep more of my budget for food and experiences. It’s simple, very clean, and has the facilities you need, with lots of hospitality. Getting your own room and bathroom at this price in central Madrid isn’t easy. It felt a bit like my college days or my grandma’s place, but in a humble way. A nice budget hostal for a short stay.
