I booked for two days on a business trip, but had to leave for an emergency within an hour. I asked if I could get a refund for at least one day, but the staff were rude and wouldn't consider it. I was short on time, so I left. The room was very small, with no glasses or kettle for making tea or coffee. The location also wasn't suitable for visiting the city Center and attractions, which were too far away and costly to reach. I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better options at the same price with a good location.

In December 2025, I found the location okay, not far from the airport. A taxi from there cost €25. There was a McDonald’s, a small supermarket, breakfast places, and a subway station nearby, and the rooms were quite spacious. One evening I asked reception for another blanket. They said they couldn't get one because they didn't have access to the room where blankets were stored, and promised to note down my room number and bring one the next morning. That didn't happen. It seems odd for reception not to have access to the storage area. The cleaners also weren't quiet when they started work in the morning, moving chairs and beds across the wooden floor like they were making the next big pop song.

My best trip to Madrid so far. I loved staying at hotel Ilunion Alcala Norte. The food was great and the service was amazing. Thanks to Robert for helping us during the trip. With love from Romania, see you in the future! ❤️ I'd 100% recommend it to anyone. 10/10 hotel.

A little outside central Madrid, the hotel made for a quiet break from the crowds. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was super comfy, and the housekeepers were so attentive. A great place to stay in Madrid.

I'm fed up with the hotel's poor reception service. I booked a twin or big bed room, then called to request the big bed room and got the hotel's promise. But at check-in I was still given a twin bed room. When I asked the receptionist to change it, she said the hotel was fully booked. I checked the booking app and saw lots of rooms available. Such a lazy, unprofessional receptionist. She deserves a better job.
