We had a lovely view from our small terrace over the Royal Palace and its back garden. The hotel is very close to the palace, though reaching its level means climbing a long set of stairs, then walking a little to the entrance. The location is very good. Breakfast was tasty with a range of options, but there were no cheese omelets. The room was spacious enough for two, and the amenities were the best of all the hotels we stayed at in Spain. Specialty coffee packs, tea bags, and fresh water bottles were replenished daily, unlike at the other four-star hotels we tried. The bathroom was a little small, but it was cleaned properly every day. I chose this hotel after searching for somewhere for our wedding anniversary. I sent them special instructions and they responded well. Special thanks to the artist Sebstian for the mirror painting and the small, nice welcome dark chocolate. The staff were all polite, helpful, and resourceful, including Andrea, Alen, and Brother Mohammed the Albanian. I remember Andrea searching for and printing us a brief list of Halal food. Thank you, Andrea. This was the best hotel I booked for my Spain trip.

Check-in was quick, and even though I arrived early, my room was ready. The staff at The Social Hub were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well equipped. I really liked the hotel’s design, and I enjoyed the breakfast when I tried it. The luggage room was handy, and check-out was fast too. A pleasant first stay, and I’d definitely come back 🌺🙂↕️

The coffee shop and restaurant were great, with lovely decor, atmosphere, and staff. The rooms were nice and clean, but the windows let you see in and out. Smaller curtains would help, since the existing ones are huge and block all the light. It took a bit of effort to keep the lights and curtains adjusted. Noise carries easily between rooms too. We were two rooms away from the entrance and heard the door opening and closing constantly, along with other guests’ doors and housekeeping. It’s nearly a 20-minute walk, but the station is only about five minutes away.

At 50, I was staying among students in their 20s and older guests, and everyone happily mixed together. People played impromptu table tennis and shared the workspaces. The atmosphere and staff were amazing. I’d stayed with them in Florence under the Student Hotel brand and loved it there too. The metro station is nearby, so getting around is really easy. I’d highly recommend it for shorter visits, and especially for longer stays, with the gym, laundry, and pool.

It’s a casual hotel where nothing feels stressful, and the central location makes public transport easy to reach. I loved my stay and have since booked The Social Hub in other cities. The food, coffee, and drinks were amazing, and having access to a kitchen, gym, and washing machines was so useful. There’s also a small pool that’s great for cooling off in the Madrid heat. The rooms are a decent size and have air conditioning. I’d recommend it for couples, friends, or solo travelers.
