MH Apartments Central Madrid

My friend was taken to hospital by ambulance and had immediate surgery after a traumatic fall during our stay on October 1st. She slipped in the shower in Room 34, which was dangerously slippery, and fell onto a broken part of the floor. She suffered a deep 30cm cut on her hip. The shower had a poorly designed ceramic floor with a round drain hole. Later we were moved to Room 45, where the shower floor was flat, smooth, and safe, which to us showed how hazardous the original design was. The worst part was being left without help in an emergency. While my friend was bleeding heavily, we tried frantically to reach hotel staff for first aid or any support, but nobody answered. We had to call Spanish emergency services ourselves. As first-time visitors who don't speak Spanish, we begged staff to help us communicate with the ambulance, but they refused. We were alone and panicked during a medical crisis. Even after returning from the hospital, we couldn't get anyone to help us change rooms. We tried to resolve things formally with management and provided a detailed account of medical expenses and other losses. Their response was inadequate, and they tried to call it an "unfortunate accident" instead of accepting responsibility for the unsafe premises and negligent staff. This ruined our trip and caused significant physical, emotional, and financial harm. It was a traumatic experience, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere for safety and peace of mind.

The location is perfect for walking around or taking the metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were as clean as any hotel. They take every measure to make sure everyone is safe and comfortable.

The apartment was OK, check-in was OK, and the location was fine. But who thinks a bathroom with no door is a good idea? I was there with my family, and they had to go downstairs when I wanted to shower. It was really weird and unpleasant.

We stayed four nights last August, and the place was perfect for me, my husband, and our 8 year old son. Great value and so convenient. The rooms were clean, modern, comfortable, and spacious, with laundry in the room and a handy little kitchenette. We loved the tiny balconies for people watching. Having Lidl and Carrefour on the ground floor was great for picking up breakfast food and snacks. The location worked perfectly for us. It was easy to grab an Uber just outside or walk to everything we needed.
