For the price, the rooms are very basic, as expected. I had a sink in mine, so sharing a bathroom wasn’t a problem and I never had to wait to shower or use the toilet. The woman at the desk was helpful, and the train station is very close. If all you need is a bed for the night and you keep expectations low, it’s perfect.

The best parts were the heating, the central location, and the kindness of the cleaning lady. The room itself was awful, just beds, a chair, and a few shelves, with no closets. The place stinks, although it’s sort of clean. The TV is good for a laugh, but not useful. Ten rooms share one bathroom, and also one kitchen that’s constantly occupied, possibly by locals or the owner’s friends. The “balcony doors” won’t close all the way, so there’s a lot of outside noise and it can get quite cold at night. It was way too expensive for what we got, not worth 250€/5 days for 2 people.

The room was clean and the location was great. From Atocha, it’s easy to get to other cities, and the downtown is easy to reach by metro. There’s only one shower and 2 bathrooms for 7 rooms.

The kitchen is small, but it has good facilities and was perfectly adequate. Some rooms have nice little balconies. The place was very clean, felt private and safe.
