Very central and comfortable, and the host met us promptly and was really friendly. The apartment was great and very clean. I’d highly recommend it. Some information about the site and a map would have helped when we arrived, though.

The place is close to the city, clean, and has good air conditioning, a comfortable bed, enough towels, and friendly staff. The sofa could have been cleaner, so I had to put a blanket down to sit on it. It was also very hard to get the shower’s hot water temperature right.

The apartment was quiet and centrally located, and priced for a budget stay for four. It’s only a five-minute walk from Centro Alameda station, with trains to the main station and airport. The modern, clean two-room apartment had a bathroom, shower, fridge, TV, dishwasher, and washing machine, plus an integrated kitchen for making meals. We had to pay an extra €30 because our flight was late, which nearly doubled the price. The sleeping couch was too dirty to sit on, and we had to unplug the fridge because it was so noisy we couldn’t sleep in the same room.

There is a washer in the unit, which was the one good thing. Otherwise, it was dirty: the floor felt sticky and turned our bare feet dark, so we had to mop it ourselves. We found a big on the sofabed, not bedbugs, and the bathroom was moldy. The street was under construction, so use La Fabrica, the restaurant, as your GPS address. I couldn’t work out the street parking rules, and parking there seemed almost impossible. There’s a paid garage half a block away that charges EUR 2 an hour or EUR 20 for 24 hours.
