A really good place to stay.

Vasil was so available, and the cleaning lady was incredibly kind. We had a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The house is just steps from the center, with all the essentials nearby, yet the neighborhood is very quiet. We slept well every night. Thanks!

The location was perfect. Cleanliness was only okay, and there were four of us but towels for just two. The pool felt tiny for the number of guests, since it was shared by four apartment buildings. It might suit younger people looking to party and still sleep well, but I wouldn’t choose it for a family.

I’m giving one star for Esther’s tact and lovely service. After this experience, neither I nor my friends and colleagues will stay here on future trips. I was meant to fly to Malaga for a very important work event, but something awful happened on Monday that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I called the contact number listed on Tuesday and got no answer. Given the circumstances, Booking.com let me request a special cancellation without a fee. That option was later canceled, and the reservation wasn’t canceled even after I explained how serious the situation was and insisted. The next day, after getting a rejection notice, I canceled with the fee and kept calling the only number listed, feeling very distressed. I don’t speak Spanish fluently, so they gave me another number. I spoke with Esther and explained that the trip was off because I couldn’t travel in the current situation. I was waiting to hear back after she spoke with the person in charge about possibly waiving the surcharge. In the end, they said I hadn’t given enough notice. I wish I hadn’t needed to give notice at all. I was flying without cancellation insurance because I absolutely had to be in Malaga on those dates, and my airline normally doesn’t refund anything without insurance. But once I sent documents to support my case, they processed the refund straight away. It wasn’t only a few nights that were lost for me. Many nearby stays were lost too, along with those of the hundreds of colleagues who were supposed to meet there. If this is how they respond when something goes wrong, I can’t imagine how they’d handle the smaller unexpected things that can happen.
