I’m asking for a refund of the full cost of our Sunday stay, returned to the credit card I paid with, and hope to settle this without legal issues. The accommodation said its hygiene was perfect and refused to refund me. We left around noon the next day, and by then my whole body was itching and covered in bites. Things got much worse by afternoon. It took a few days to work out the cause, and my dermatologist reached the same conclusion after examining me: bed bugs, which could be due to inadequate and negligent hygiene. I had 25-30 severe bites across my face, limbs, back, and the rest of my body. They itched badly for a week and healed very slowly. Be very careful, there may be bed bugs in the rooms. I do not recommend this accommodation.

For a cheap one-night stay in Malaga, this simple hotel had what we needed. My worry with cheaper places is that they might be dirty, but this one was impeccably clean, from the crisp white sheets and comfortable beds to the room and bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and lent us a kettle for our evening tea. I’d highly recommend it.

We spent the weekend in Malaga with my son, and this hotel worked perfectly for us. The staff were so kind and generous, looking after our bags both before check-in and after check-out, since we arrived early Saturday and left late Sunday. The rooms are basic but very clean, the beds comfortable, and the showers hot with a good strong flow. It’s near the train station, and an easy walk to both the city center and the harbor. Thanks to the friendly staff.

No frills, just a basic hostel with what you need. It’s conveniently close to both the train and bus stations.
