The pool was filthy, with lotion residue and clumps of hair, and you couldn’t see the bottom. Inside, the clothes drawers hadn’t been cleaned, and the pillows were yellowed and dirty, as though previous guests had used them without them being washed. At €100 a night, I expected the apartment to be cleaner.

The woman who brought the keys was right on time and very helpful. The large room was clean, well equipped, and centrally located, so it worked well for a short holiday. There were only three chairs, though, and the table was too small for four people to eat together. One more chair and a bigger table would help.

It was very clean and nicely equipped, but the space is too small for four people and there aren’t enough beds. There’s a washing machine, yet nowhere at all to dry your clothes. The price is also quite high.

The location is the one good thing, within walking distance of the center. To get inside, you have to call someone, and we waited more than half an hour before anybody showed up. The person who eventually arrived spoke very little English and explained almost nothing about the terms or service. Towels and linens weren’t changed, so we had to wash them ourselves. There were damp patches in the bedroom and by the shower.
