UrbanChic Carreteria Apartment

I just got back after eight days here, and I'd definitely book it again. I've stayed in lots of apartments in Malaga over the past ten years, and this is the first one I'd return to. It's very central, close to bars, restaurants, and three good grocery shops right nearby, yet there was no noise after 11pm. The apartment was very clean and everything worked. The living room has windows on both sides, which bring in lots of light and air. The kitchen is well equipped, with a cooker, microwave, and washing machine that all worked well. There's also a pleasant patio for sitting outside. The owner put in two new ceiling fans while I was there. They're great, and the built-in bulbs give excellent reading light.

Brian answered our questions quickly both before and during the stay. The rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, and the little enclosed outdoor area was a real bonus. The apartment was a delight to stay in and easy for our taxi driver to find. It's one flight of stairs up, which was no problem for either of us in our 60s. Malaga center is a very short walk away, though we thought the bars and restaurants closer to the apartment were better value and quieter. We stayed in March 2026 and highly recommend it.

The courtyard was a real bonus. We spent a weekend here and had no complaints: clean, quiet, well equipped, and well located. I highly recommend it.
