Gran Hotel Spa

We had such a good time that our planned 2-night stay turned into 4 nights. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was very bike friendly. Thanks to everyone there. We'll definitely return next year!

The spa was smaller than it looked in the photos, and the cold water was a little disappointing. Still, we left very happy with our stay. We came on a bus tour and were impressed by how well the team fed so many people at once: everything was delicious and piping hot when it reached the table. The chefs and both waiters deserve a big round of applause.

The buffet had lots of choice, and everything was good quality. The restaurant portions were impressively generous, too. We also had a massage and loved it. The spa isn't very big, but it does its job perfectly. It was my first visit last weekend, and I enjoyed the accommodation, facilities, and spa so much that I'll be back. People of all ages were there, and I'd recommend giving it a try. I WILL BE BACK

The receptionist was friendly and professional throughout, which was the one bright spot. Her helpfulness couldn't make up for the other problems, and there was a big gap between what the hotel promised and what we got. We stayed last week and found the facilities neglected and poorly maintained. The dining was one of the worst parts: we had dinner there one night, the food quality was very low, even the dessert was badly prepared, and every table seemed dissatisfied, with full plates going back to the kitchen. The spa was tiny, with no real capacity control. We were told visits were in one-hour slots, yet it was extremely crowded when we went in, with no supervision and no staff on hand to provide service or keep an eye on things.
