El Greco

The staff made our stay especially fun. They were always super friendly, shared plenty of laughs, and were great with kids. We found the hotel lovely for a relaxing break, though I'd suggest more weekend entertainment. The bar closes at 18, and some live music with the bar open until 22 on a Friday would be nice. The location is hard to beat, right by the beach with places to eat and shop nearby. The pool was quiet and there was usually a free chair in the sun. The poolside dining was quite good too. My favorite was the Pinza pizza, fresh, airy, and delicious. Our room was spotless after its daily cleaning, and the internet was surprisingly good, measured at 500/100, which worked well for movies and browsing. The beds were among the best I've had in hotels, with soft pillows and a very comfortable feel overall. I didn't use the room kitchen, but you could easily buy food at Spar and cook for yourself to save on breakfast or lunch. I've stayed in many hotels, and this one is in my top five. I was pleasantly surprised.

It was my first time in Gran Canaria, and I thought the stay was excellent. The rooms, balcony, space around the pool, and service from the staff were all great. The only drawback is that it's block booked for the winter months. I'd definitely love to come back in winter.

My wife and I have just come back from a fantastic 14-night holiday at the El Greco. It was a treat from beginning to end. We met lovely guests around the pool, and the bar staff, chef, reception staff, and maids were all great. All we can say is thank you.

The pool area is lovely, though I wish staff enforced the sunbed policy more diligently. Around 80% of the loungers had towels on them, with nobody using them throughout the day. The hotel itself was nice and clean, right by the beach. Our room was wonderful, with an amazing bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a private balcony.
