This is mainly a heads-up for future visitors. We booked at the last minute because the price seemed reasonable for a four-star hotel, but it felt overpriced for the quality of what we experienced. The room was spacious, but dusty and not cleaned well. We got two small bottles of water on the first day and none the next. It was very hot, and since we couldn't lower the temperature, we opened the window. Then we heard pigeons and people leaving in the parking area. The reception team seemed to dislike their jobs and were unkind. We had to ask about everything, much of which could have been explained better on the website or in room brochures. They said we needed shoes and swim caps for the spa and could take a bathrobe from the room, but didn't mention the walk outside. It was cold, and easy to get sick. The spa was the coldest I've been to, with the inside at 21 degrees and very cold water. It was crowded too, with people packed close together in the Jacuzzis and hammam. Breakfast was chaotic, with queues and broken coffee machines. There were no vegetables, just sad salad and a plastic tomato. In Catalonia, finding good vegetables shouldn't be that hard. The lobby bar was freezing and didn't have enough bartenders for the number of people. Its phone, which also handles room service, rang loudly the whole time, making the noise unbearable. They need to improve their technology, facilities, and team.

It's a huge hotel, but there wasn't much to do. The internet in our first-floor room wouldn't work. We asked the FO staff member, who gave us another code, but that didn't help. Also, the HK staff member opened our room door while we were still inside instead of waiting for us to answer.

The hotel welcomes pets, and we'd definitely come back. It sits beside a wonderful, almost botanical park, with a great outdoor pool and a very relaxed atmosphere. Our standard room had enough space, was very clean, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was excellent, with cava, a good variety of cheese and ham, fresh orange juice, and jazz music. We didn't try the spa during the summer season. You can walk into the city center through the Aqua tonic entrance, and have dinner outside or inside the hotel. Highly recommended.

The staff were amazing, and the hotel has some wonderful spots. It's a lovely place if you want peace and quiet, a little away from any big city. It gives you the feeling of being on your own, yet one of the side doors is right by the village.

I came for the thermal water, but the spa was just okay, nothing special, and it wasn't included with the room. The hotel felt far from four-star quality: old furniture, a cold room that took six hours to reach 22 degrees, rusty water in the tub, and an overpriced stay. Kind of disappointing.
