Hotel Luruna was a lovely base in Mundaka, right in the middle of town and only minutes from the port. On-site parking was a real help in an area where parking is tricky. Fidel and Itxaso at the front desk were especially kind and quick to help with directions, advice, or anything else we needed. Alonso was great behind the bar too, and we appreciated how friendly he was. We'll definitely stay here again soon.

Jorge, the owner, made our stay feel personal and a lot of fun. Everyone at Hotel Laruna was friendly and the service was great. Our room was fantastic, with a loft-like feel and high ceilings, and the large bathroom had everything we needed. Everything seemed new, including the oversized towels. There was live music the night we stayed, and the food and drinks at the bar were exceptional. Hotel Laruna made our Spain trip memorable. I'd highly recommend both the hotel and a visit to Mundaka amid the bustle of travelling around Spain.

The family had one of our best hotel stays here. The hospitality, cleanliness and food were all above and beyond, and having everything in one place made things so comfortable. The bartender and chef were incredible, and the food was absolutely delicious. The kind staff made it feel like a palace, but also like home. We were really sad to leave and already can't wait to return. Thanks so much!

This is a lovely new addition to Mundaka, set in a rehabilitated mansion. The rooms are modern, sleek and clean. Double-paned windows kept the street life outside, so we slept undisturbed. The harbor, which is incredibly picturesque, is just a minute's walk away. The restaurant was good, with pleasant seating both inside and out, and the staff were very friendly. Parking couldn't be more convenient, and you'll need it since there's none in this tiny Basque surf town. Book it!
