Noise travels easily through the walls. We also couldn’t get hot water for a shower, despite trying in the afternoon, evening, night, and morning. We told management, but nothing came of it and they never got back to us. When we mentioned the lack of hot water again as we left, they offered us a coffee. The woman at reception was nice about the other things.

The owner was so gracious and made the place feel like home. I left my passport behind, and she made sure it got back to me because she understood how important it was. Breakfast was generous, and everything was delicious. I felt safe there.

The location worked really well, close to the bus station and some great restaurants. At Hostal Hispano in Nájera, I had a spacious, comfortable room and a great night’s sleep after one of my longest days walking the Camino de Santiago. Breakfast was delicious and well prepared, and choosing what I wanted the night before made the morning easier. Laundry service was convenient too. A restful stop on the Camino.

The room was cute, and I even had a little balcony. The staff were happy, helpful, and amazing. I forgot to collect my Pilgrim picnic breakfast, but they left it waiting in my room. It was delicious and better than I’d expected after arriving early at the next location. Thank you!
