Bungalow & Camping Los Escullos

We found a good community spirit at this campsite, where people from many countries stay over winter. Facilities are excellent, with plenty of hot water in the showers and good sanitation. Each parcela has shut, water and wastewater connections, as long as you bring a wastewater tube or pipe. There's a good bar and restaurant, and lots of activities, with plenty of hiking and mountain biking nearby.

Our favourite stop in Espana, and we can't wait to return this year. The staff are excellent, the facilities are amazing, and there's a great restaurant and entertainment. The beaches are gorgeous!

We only managed two nights at this lovely campsite. I would definitely have stayed longer.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and loved the site and its location. There's loads to do nearby, especially walking and cycling, and we'd definitely recommend it. It's a small site about a kilometre's walk from the beach, though be aware of rip currents. In March our pitch had a good mix of sunshine and shade. The pitches are arranged along little lanes off one through road, so the place feels fairly private and quiet, though it got busy at the weekend. There are touring pitches, bungalows, safari huts and small static tents, with the bungalows towards the sides and back. Some pitches have non-drinking water, and each has electricity. Staff were all friendly. The receptionist was especially helpful and spoke perfect English, and the team worked incredibly hard to keep everything clean and tidy. The large toilet block is centrally located, with separate men's and women's areas. There are plenty of toilets and showers, kept very clean day and night. Don't flush toilet paper. The showers are spacious, have a couple of hooks, good pressure and adjustable temperature. Beside them are lots of clean dishwashing sinks with very hot water. There's also a laundry room with four large washing machines, €4 per wash. The bar, restaurant and well-stocked shop are on site, with fresh bread daily. Happy hour at the bar offers two-for-one drinks from 6-7pm. The pool opened on 4 April, and it's a really nice addition.
