Pensión 9 de Abril

The room was comfortable and really clean, and I’d recommend staying here. We spent the night before setting off on the last leg of the Camino Frances. The man at check-in was very helpful, explaining Pedrouzo and sharing useful advice for getting to the pilgrim’s office the next day.

Everything was clean and practical. The private room and bathroom were small, but enough. There’s no A/C. Restaurants are a five-minute walk away, the Camino is six minutes away, and the grocery store is just one minute away.

I was walking the Camino for the first time and caught a cold along the way. I felt really bad, and although I wasn’t staying at the hotel, the reception staff kindly helped me get a taxi. They were so friendly. I’m very grateful.

The receptionist was very nice, but nobody is there after 4:30pm 🫤. My room was very small, with a tiny bathroom, though it was clean and comfortable enough for a night. The walls are super thin, so you hear a lot of noise from the rooms on every side and above.
