It was okay for one night, though I expected more for the price. The triple room was extremely small, there’s no air conditioning, and the washing machines cost extra. The location is great if you’re travelling by road, and there’s a bar on site, but no restaurants nearby. You can order food, and the pizza we got was excellent. The pool is really cool. When we first walked into the room, we were just glad nobody bit us 😂, that was our first thought 😅.

We had a good stay on our last night of the primitivo. The standard was as good as the other places we’d stayed, so ignore the negative reviews. It’s just 500m off the Camino, and a nearby short path lets you start the final day without going back down the hill. The staff were pleasant, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. On a hot day, the pool was a great relief. There’s no restaurant for dinner, but it’s easy to order food from a local restaurant and it arrives in under 20 min. The bar is good, and the cooked breakfast was better than most others we had on the Camino. A good experience all round.

The route to this place is dangerous on foot, especially after a long day walking. It’s 1km up a steep hill along a bushy, poorly lit main road with no proper sidewalk. Food is awkward too: you can walk 1km back down the hill to the only restaurant in town, where we had an unpleasant experience with rude staff who seemed openly hostile toward foreigners, or rely on takeaway arranged by the hotel. Neither option is ideal after a day on the Camino. The room was in terrible shape. The pillowcases were stained, there was mould on parts of the ceiling and walls, and even a hole in the roof. The shower was still wet when I arrived, as if someone had just used it, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. The whole place felt neglected and unhygienic. When I raised this with staff, they said they regularly repaint over the mould to hide it and that my room was due to be repainted. This was by far the worst accommodation I experienced on the Camino, and the worst place I stayed during the whole journey. It’s run down, unsanitary, poorly located, and unwelcoming. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. Don’t be fooled by the pool.

The service was consistently poor, with a bad attitude, and I was very disappointed with my stay. My room had no proper egress window, so there seemed to be no alternative exit in a fire or other emergency, which raises a serious safety concern. It also lacked natural light and felt closed in and uncomfortable. The shower was very small, and the hot water could burn you. The accommodations felt unsafe and inconvenient, and weren’t at all what I expected. I can’t recommend this hotel.
