B&B Hotel Donostia San Sebastian Aeropuerto

The location was lovely, with shops and restaurants just around the corner, and the staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious, clean, modern and attractive. But the beds were awful: the foot of mine was broken, the mattress was okay, and the pillow was a disaster. The walls were thin, and the air conditioning made so much noise all night that we couldn't sleep properly.

The hotel itself is fine, and the woman at the entrance was nice. But don’t expect much phone service. We called with a simple question because we’d arrived early and wanted to see if our booked room happened to be ready. The man who answered kept interrupting and telling us to “email the hotel,” even after I said I was outside in the car. He wouldn’t check, and came across as rude and incompetent. Book if you like, but communication by phone was poor.

The reception team was especially helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Our modern, stylish room was quiet and very comfortable. I’d happily book again and recommend it.

We’ll definitely use this place again on the way back to France. Parking was easy, with restaurants and a petrol station nearby. The room was excellent, with a huge bed and a clean, modern bathroom.
