Hotel ASA La Marina by SH Hoteles

We loved our stay and were sorry to leave. The hotel is immaculate, the rooms are peaceful and comfortable, and the rooftop pool was a refreshing end to the day. Parking is plentiful and secure, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. We used the kitchen area in our apartment to make breakfast and lunch, so we didn’t eat at the restaurant. The retail complex won’t suit everyone since it isn’t a resort, but we know the area well after many visits over more than 20 years and had a hire car. It worked very well for us: there are plenty of shops, restaurants and other conveniences, and you can reach the main roads within minutes. My only criticism was the reception and bar during busy periods. The same staff member was handling everything, so it never felt convenient to ask for a drink when they were busy checking someone in. That wasn’t their fault, just how it was.

I’m just finishing my delicious breakfast here for the second time, and wanted to say how much I’ve enjoyed this gem of a hotel. There aren’t many staff, but they’ve clearly picked well: everyone is friendly, efficient and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean. We stayed at a NH beforehand, and they could take a few lessons from this place on cleanliness. It’s a fabulous hotel and amazingly good value.

This is our third visit in the last 12 months, and we’ve enjoyed the great facilities and friendly, helpful staff each time. The whole hotel is super clean, including the rooftop pool, which has views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfasts are great, the patio bar is lovely, and secure parking is free.

There’s a nice bar, a terrace and a lovely rooftop pool. Service was good, the hotel was very clean, and breakfast was good too, though there were very few sugar-free options. It’s a good base for touring the Denia, Xabia and Calp region, with everything about 20-40 minutes away.
