Casablanca Apartamentos

There are quite a lot of stairs, which can be good exercise after enjoying Canary’s delicious food, but something to bear in mind if walking is difficult. The apartments sit on a hill, well placed for the beach and restaurants, and each has its own outdoor space with loungers and a table to enjoy the view and sea breeze. Inside they’re well equipped, though a little dark and in need of some refurbishment. A very nice place overall.

The bread delivery from the bakery in the morning was a nice extra. We had lovely views from our apartment terrace, which had a sitting area and sunbeds. It was windy, as it is in many parts of the island. Depending on which apartment you get, there can be quite a few stairs, but that didn’t bother us. We stayed three nights.

Apartementos Casablanca felt quiet and charming compared with other Morro Jable hotels, yet it’s only five minutes from the restaurants and beach. Karla, the owner, was lovely and available whenever we needed her. Our suite was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and looked out over the pool and ocean. A wonderful stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for a pleasant couple’s holiday.

The beach is just five minutes away, with clear water, a huge stretch of sand, and lots of little restaurants along the promenade. It’s a fantastic small town, and this hotel sits above the centre, close to the beach. Our mini suite was cozy and comfortable, with its own distinctive decor. We more or less had the terrace outside our room to ourselves, and the views were wonderful. There’s also a small pool for cooling off. The hotel sparkles, everything felt perfect, and the owners and staff were so friendly.
