Royal Palm Resort & Spa - Adults Only

We booked a three-hour private spa session, and it was amazing, well worth doing. The receptionist who took care of us gave such outstanding service that the experience felt genuinely special. The resort itself is huge and has just about everything you might need on site. We also loved the direct route to the beautiful beach, where you can stroll along the coast towards the lighthouse. A great choice for a relaxing, high-quality adults-only break.

Direct beach access was one of the best things about the hotel. The beach is beautiful, and the sunrise views are fantastic. Our room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed regularly. It sometimes felt a little cool in the evenings, even after adjusting the air-conditioning control, but it was never cold. The room itself was clean, and the drinks from both the indoor and outdoor bars were delicious. The bar staff were friendly too. At breakfast, the staff were polite and welcoming, though a few dishes were cold or a bit hard. We only had breakfast included. The reception lady gave us a warm welcome and the rest of that team were very helpful. I think a smile and a bit of kindness go a long way, and you tend to get the same back. On New Year’s Eve the fireworks were beautiful, just as announced, at 12:15 a.m. The staff were working incredibly hard that night. Some things took a little longer at first because they were so busy, but they did their best to help everyone and stayed focused and efficient. I have nothing negative to say about the service. We had a very pleasant stay, and this is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

I’ve stayed here five times and already booked again for June. It’s so relaxing, and travelling solo, I found it just the thing to recharge. The area is stunning, with beaches stretching for miles and lovely swimming in both the sea and the hotel pools. There’s also a nature reserve on the edge of Morro Jable that’s interesting for wildlife photography. It’s a four-star adults-only hotel, with a great breakfast and evening meals. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a well-equipped gym, computer facilities and strong WiFi. You can buy bottled water at reception. If you’re after a restful break, this works really well.

We were there during a storm, so couldn’t use the pool area, and there were problems with the electricity and water on our balcony. Even so, we enjoyed our stay. The views and breakfast were amazing, and the staff were very friendly, especially in the restaurants.
