We found this a great place to stay before setting out on a long leg of the Camino. It's right around the corner from the main street with restaurants and shops. The beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and check-in was easy. Just remember that many pensions and hostels only have someone on site for a few hours a day, so pay attention to that when booking and plan accordingly.

A perfect spot to rest on the way to Santiago. The apartments were clean, bright, and comfortable, with a window facing the roman Iglesia de San Tirso and the garden.

The room had heaters, which made a real difference for me since I've frozen in some places in April where there was no heat. Very clean, and close to the Camino.

We booked a four-bed dorm through Booking.com while hiking the Camino de Santiago. The form-filling website arrived less than an hour before the check-in deadline, and we were so busy we didn't see it. We took the wrong alley and arrived two minutes late, then found ourselves locked out and ignored. We called and texted without getting an answer. After waiting fifteen minutes, we left quietly. They had already taken our payment. Couldn't they at least have let us in for being just two minutes late? Every call went to voicemail. We finally got a reply after we'd left, but all it said was that they left promptly at 5 PM and we were "late" by two minutes…
