The room was small but had what I needed, including a fridge, hairdryer, and safe. It was very clean and warm, with central heating, and I could dry clothes on the radiator. Towels were changed daily and always came back dry and smelling lovely. There was a half-litre bottle of water in the room. After checkout, I could leave my luggage in storage. There’s also a shared microwave and kettle area that guests can use even during paid breakfast. A couple of suggestions: there’s no kettle in the room. The shower is part of the room without a door to stop water getting out, so I had to put a towel on the floor. It got wet and stayed that way until the next day’s replacement.

A compact, well-organized hostel near the centre, with easy access to the beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. The small pool was nice, and the staff were helpful, though reception wasn’t always staffed. The room was tiny, with a bathroom that felt oddly large by comparison.

I loved Hostal Bonany. The staff were welcoming, the room was clean, and the whole hostal was wonderful. It’s in a peaceful, great neighbourhood, very close to the centre of Palma. An amazing experience.

The breakfast is well worth the €5, and the staff were amiable. There was construction work going on, but it didn’t bother us. The location is great. On Sundays, some loud church bells ring, though they stop at 9pm, so keep that in mind if you’re hoping to get some sleep that day. It’s a shame there’s no communal kitchen. I suppose there was some confusion, since a Hostal is different from a hostel.

Good value for the price. The pool was nice and the area was quiet. The room was okay, though some things could do with replacing. Service was okay too. Reception was often unmanned, but staff could be contacted at any time. It’s a little outside the city centre, but easy to reach on bus number 4.
