8/10
The pool and garden were lovely, quiet places to unwind after time in the city, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings. Hotel Araxa has a relaxed, welcoming feel, and we felt safe and comfortable from the moment we arrived. We spent six nights there. Our room was clean, tidy and well maintained, with good AC that kept it cool even on the hottest days. It isn’t especially modern or luxurious, but it had what we needed as a base in Palma. Staff were friendly and easy to approach, and happy to help with directions and recommendations. The hotel is in a quieter part of Palma, but close enough to walk or take a short ride into the center. It was easy to explore and come back somewhere peaceful. We thought it was good value for the price, and would recommend it as a clean, safe and comfortable place to stay.

The pool was excellent, with mature trees providing shade in the beautiful garden, and the bar service was excellent too. We didn’t eat at the hotel, but there were plenty of good, inexpensive local places nearby. It’s set away from the busy center, though not too far from the waterfront. We walked from the center, but there’s also a bus route that runs pretty much past the hotel. It isn’t glitzy or new, which I actually liked. It has a sense of authenticity and ownership that you often don’t get with chain hotels.

It’s a convenient 15-minute walk from the center of Mallorca. The hotel feels quiet and friendly, but the facilities are a little dated. There’s a pool, and being able to eat right beside it adds to the relaxed feel.

10/10
The room and pool were lovely, and there’s a great coffee shop and supermarket just five minutes away on foot. It’s a quiet, tucked-away hotel about a mile from the centre, with good bars along the walk into town. I’ve stayed three times now and keep wanting to come back.

2/10
Our cash, bank cards, and IDs were stolen from our room. The staff handled it very unprofessionally and didn’t offer any meaningful help. I felt the place was unsafe and that the people running it didn’t care about their guests. I’d avoid it.
