The room and terrace were good, and the bathroom was okay. The check-in conversation was the frustrating part. I had booked for one person by mistake, then asked to have a friend stay for a night. I was told the reservation couldn't be changed, and at first the only suggestion was a separate, much more expensive apartment. I later learned I could have canceled and rebooked for two at a lower price, but no one mentioned that during my long discussion at reception. When I tried to clear things up, the staff member came across as dismissive and interrupted me several times. They could communicate better and be more flexible about a simple booking mistake.

There was no heating for the cold nights, and the old blankets had no covers. I also expected a few basic kitchen things, at least a knife, washing-up soap and a sponge, but they weren't there. The bathroom didn't have any hand soap either. I was asked to pay about 15 Euros extra, supposedly tax, even though I'd paid the full price when booking and the payment statement already included some amount as tax. We stayed three nights with my wife and son, from 5th to 8th of April 2023. For what it cost, the facilities weren't worth more than two stars. It felt like I paid for beds that shake, and it wasn't cheap. 😕

The owner came into our room in the middle of the night, even though the door was locked. I really don't recommend this place.
