There's a good-sized sitting area by the downstairs bar, just off reception, where you can read, have a drink, or socialize. The staff were friendly, knew the area well, and spoke excellent English. For the price, I found it a good-quality hotel in a handy spot. It's near the main train station, several bus stops, and lots of places to eat. The bedrooms are a decent size, and the en-suite bathrooms are well equipped. Mine had a bath with a shower, toilet, bidet, and sink. There are two small pools, one unheated on the rooftop terrace and one heated in the basement. Neither is big enough to swim in, but both are nice for a dip. I used the small gym and it had what I needed: free weights up to 15kg, a treadmill, bike, cross-trainer, Swiss Balls, and a multi-function resistance machine.

The location is great, but the hotel itself feels average at best, and four stars seems too generous. The rooms were clean enough, though nothing special. Coffee came in Nescafe sachets, and the bathrooms were very small. Service was very slow, and staff seemed to be on holiday themselves. The rooftop terrace is nice but underused, with little or no service even though there's a great bar on the top floor. The whole floor feels dead. The rooftop “pool” is really more like a 60 cm deep fountain. There's another pool in the basement, but hotel guests have to pay 10 Eur to swim there.

The employees were just what you'd want as a guest, nice, helpful, and even funny. I stayed for two nights and was very happy with the service, food, and room. I'll definitely stay here again.

A great spot for exploring the city, and a taxi can take you to the beach for the day. Our room was nice and the team were super friendly and reliable. The rooftop pool is small, but a lovely way to start or finish the day, and the privatized spa was stunning. The only letdown was the rooftop bar, where we had to wait quite a while to be served.
