Hotel Negresco Playa de Palma - Adults Only

There’s plenty nearby, including souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets, and the bus stop is just a three-minute walk away. Trips into the wider area usually took 20-25 minutes. Hotel Negresco is modern, new, and exceptionally clean, and the reception team were welcoming and helpful throughout our week in Playa de Palma. Booking through the hotel website came with a voucher for a free massage. We didn’t manage to use it, so that gives us a reason to come back.

The hotel itself was lovely, with comfortable rooms and air conditioning that actually works. It’s right on the beach and only a few minutes by car from both the airport and the city centre. There was plenty of street parking in September, after the August rush, and the hotel also has paid parking on site. The crowd did tend a bit older. I’d definitely recommend it.

We recommend it. The rooftop pool has a lovely view, and the jacuzzi is warm, which was especially nice on rainy days. The hotel is far enough from the party area at Ballerman that evenings stayed quiet, and you can go straight from the hotel to the beach. In October the beach was very clean and the water crystal clear. Our room was clean and got cleaned every day, including the floors being wet-mopped. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good.

Breakfast was fabulous, and we ate at the hotel buffet on a couple of evenings. There are plenty of good restaurants in the resort too. Both hotel pools were clean and quiet, and we never had trouble finding a spot at either one. The beach is right across from the hotel, and the resort itself felt very peaceful. Our room was spotless and quiet, with no noise from other guests or the street. The staff were amazing and the service impeccable. It was our first time at an adults-only hotel, and we’ll definitely choose one again.
