New Art Hostel Albergue Juvenil

We liked how convenient this place was and would return. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom, and helpful staff were available at reception around the clock. It's a good location, not far from PMI airport, with an easy walk to the centre and cafeterias and bakeries nearby.

Friendly staff and decent facilities, but the place felt overcrowded and wasn't quiet. Shared rooms were packed, with hardly any space between beds. To reach private rooms, you have to pass through the shared rooms, so people are constantly walking by and making noise. The cleaning staff did a good job, though they were quite noisy when they started. The location is okay, with a park next door and the beach about a 10-minute walk away. Prices rise in season, but the quality doesn't match what they charge. I'd consider staying only if nothing else was available.

The staff were the best part of our stay. We don't speak Spanish, but they patiently explained everything using Google Translate, always smiling and never showing frustration. When my wife was exhausted and we arrived before noon just to leave our bags, they understood and prepared a room straight away, even though check-in was officially at 14:00. They also moved us quickly to another room when we had a small issue. Both rooms were very clean, cleaner than we expected. We could walk to the beach and many of Palma's must-see places without using public transport. For our 5:00 AM flight, the staff arranged a regular taxi, not a special partner service with extra charges, and we paid the normal fare. We'd worried about the negative reviews, but the stay turned out excellent. We were really satisfied and definitely recommend it for the friendly staff, clean rooms and convenient location.

Those afternoons in the little yard are still some of my favorite memories, with everyone gathered together and having such a laugh. I had the best time at this hostel, made friends who are still my friends today, and took some photos with the new people I met. The reception team was amazing, and everyone was so kind and trusting.
