Pure Salt Residences

The rooms were lovely, with two showers, a balcony, and a sea view. But those positives didn't make up for the problems during our three days at the residence, which were a gift for my mother's 90th birthday. We arrived in the second week of November, when the weather was wonderful, around 23-25°C. The sea was a bit chilly for swimming, especially for someone who is 90, so we were looking forward to the rooftop pool and its stunning coastline view. Instead, it was closed, with a sign saying it would stay closed until February 2026 due to adverse weather. No one told me when I booked, and I couldn't find that information on the website either. The beach right in front of the residence was also due to close for construction the next day, along a stretch of 1 km. Neither the city nor the hotel had let us know. It was hard to feel pleased with the birthday gift under those circumstances. One more small issue: they took a €400 deposit from my account and said it would be returned within 48 hours at most. A week later, it still hadn't been sent back until I asked by email.
