We arrived late at night after travelling, and the receptionist left us outside with our luggage. She hadn’t let us in or sent the code for the key, and didn’t pick up until after we’d called again and again and waited almost an hour. Then she gave us the code and hung up straight away, saying she was “sleeping.” The next day, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of apologising, she said our compensation was that we hadn’t had to sleep outside on the street. She also tried to charge us extra for a key box we’d never damaged. Other reviews suggest this wasn’t an isolated experience, with many guests describing the same unacceptable behaviour. The location may look nice online, but the customer service is shocking. You risk being stranded outside in the middle of the night with your luggage. Save yourself the stress and avoid this place.

My flight was delayed and due to arrive at 3am. I tried calling, emailing and messaging the owner because reception closes at 11pm, but got no response. The only instructions were on a letter on the reception door, telling us to press the buzzer for help after closing. We arrived at 4am and couldn’t get anyone to answer. We tried calling and emailing, contacted the booking company and asked nearby hotels for help, but no one could help us, and there were no rooms available nearby. The hotel across the road let us charge our phones, since our batteries were dead. We spent three hours walking around Magaluf with nowhere to go. At 6:45am the owner called and gave us a key safe code for a room on the third floor. When we opened it, two men were in the bed. I told her how I felt, but she only said she’d be at work at 11am and hung up on me several times. Later she called back and told us to go to reception for another key. A man she sent couldn’t open the box with all the room keys, so he had to force it open. We took the lift up and let ourselves into the room. Luckily, no one else was in that bed, but the room looked nothing like the picture and was disgusting for the price. The staff, room and whole place were appalling. I’d never book here.

We paid £1650 for nine days expecting somewhere comfortable and safe. The stay was the opposite, and this was one of the worst holiday rentals I’ve experienced. The apartment was noisy throughout, with loud activity from guests or neighbours and paper-thin walls. On top of that, my friend was nearly robbed right by the front door. It felt unsafe the whole time, and security is clearly a serious issue. The air conditioning barely worked, making it almost impossible to sleep on hot nights, and the fridge was broken, so storing food and drinks was a problem. Many of the lights inside were broken or flickering. When we asked the woman at reception for help, she was rude and acted as though we were bothering her. For that price, it was completely unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this property. Avoid it if you value your safety, sleep and money.

The rooms were dirty. I had two, both with urine-stained sheets, and the smell around the place was vile. There were holes in the walls and everything was in complete disrepair. I walked in, took the loss and booked somewhere else straight away. The staff were rude, people had smashed parts of the hotel, and guests were smoking cannabis in the car park. Cars were being stripped there too. The place looked like the slums. I’ve stayed in better hostels. Don’t waste your money booking here. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Spend an extra €20-30 a night and save yourself a massive headache.
