The woman was so kind and helped us arrange the Donkey Service. She speaks perfect English. Our room was a bit small, but quiet and convenient, close to the Camino so it was easy not to get lost in the city. The service and location earn five out of five from me. A couple of my friends from The States stayed at another place on the 5th floor, where the woman working there didn’t speak English at all.
The apartment itself was okay, but we had a very poor stay and wouldn’t come back. When we arrived, an elderly man who presumably lives in the flat was in the living room watching TV loudly most of the time. No one had explained that he’d be there. It also wasn’t made clear that guests couldn’t use the kitchen. We accidentally used the washing machine and then had a rude exchange with the host, who made us pay 6 euro. Those interactions made the stay really unpleasant.
I’d recommend this as a cheap place to sleep overnight. I’m staying for a week, so I’ve been allowed to use the kitchen, though there’s a microwave available if you’re only there for a night. I think the quality is good for the price.
Good location, quiet room, and free wifi. It’s a very basic room, though, and my bathroom was down the hall and could use some small repairs. It’s cheap, so you decide.
The owner was friendly, quick to respond, flexible when we checked in, and available throughout our stay. The guesthouse is well located too, with the city center easy to reach on foot or by bus. Our room had an en-suite bathroom and everything we needed, though it wasn’t luxurious. At such a good price, you can’t expect a five-star hotel, and the value for money was a 10/10. We’d happily come back.
