At night, our rustic room became completely dark and quiet, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in since starting the Camino. Carmen was a wonderful hostess who welcomed us warmly. She picks pilgrims up and takes them back to the walk, and one day when I really needed it, she invited me to share some wine with her. On arrival, she had made dinner for the guests eating together at one table, which added to the Camino’s sense of camaraderie. It was a relaxing stay, and I fully recommend it.

We opted for a ride back up the hill to the Camino in the morning. This is a very quiet, clean, modern casa rural in a small village, with a good room and separate ensuite. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made a good pilgrim meal and breakfast.

Carmen, the owner, was an excellent host and did all she could to make our stay comfortable. The house was a joy and everything was very clean. The only drawback was the small refrigerator. Our group of 10 used the kitchen a lot and brought plenty of food to cook, so the fridge size mattered. Otherwise, we enjoyed the house and Carmen’s hospitality.

Mrs. Carmen’s hospitality was excellent, and we left very happy and grateful. The bed and pillow were comfortable in this charming traditional house, whose interior has been renovated and restored. It’s a beautiful place and worth staying overnight whether you’re a pilgrim or not.

Carmen is a sweetheart, caring and kind, and everyone at the house was fabulous. We had an amazing few days. The food was exquisite and everything spotless. A wonderful place, highly recommended. We’ll definitely come back.
