This is great value. There's a nice park half a mile away, with tennis courts, a pool, a running track, and picnic tables. I've stayed in the Pazo about a dozen nights over the past year. The staff are friendly and helpful, and my room is always very clean, with a comfortable bed, fresh fruit, and a bottle of water each day. Rooms away from the road are quiet, but the walls are thin, so sounds from a neighbor or their TV carry through. The restaurant serves good local food, though the menu is limited. Breakfast is coffee and a pastry.

The cafeteria server was polite, though what we ordered was just average. This review covers both the hotel and the cafeteria. We stayed from October 21st to 25th, when nighttime temperatures had already fallen to 9°C. Our room was quite cold. When I brought it up, I was told the heating was centralized and hadn't been switched on yet. They said there were blankets, so I took that to mean I should use them while sitting or get into bed to keep warm. The bathroom could use a few small repairs. There's no hand towel rack, and the door needs a wedge to stop it closing. The Wi-Fi also doesn't reach the whole hotel. These are all minor issues.
