AYA Seahotel – Adults Only

The breakfast had lots of options, although I think the quality could be a little better. The staff were super nice, and the location was perfect. I booked too late, so it was a bit pricey, but with enough notice I think it would be good value. The shower setup is more suited to couples, and might feel awkward if you’re staying with friends. Keeping in mind this is a 4-star hotel, not a 5-star one, I’d still give it five stars. I’d stay there again.

The hotel is in a good location, with a lively flow of people and tourists. Staff were helpful, though they should be careful about who they refer guests to when booking a car. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant downstairs had good food at comparatively good prices. Our room was spacious but had a strange layout. It was nice to look out at the ocean while showering, and the shower pressure was excellent. But the toilet had no fan or door lock, and was very close to the sink, which was outside. They didn’t provide shampoo, conditioner, or body lotion, although the staff kindly gave us lotion on the first night. That’s inconvenient with travel restrictions if you’re bringing only hand luggage. We stayed five nights, and the sheets weren’t changed once. The pillows were very uncomfortable, and water kept leaking out of the shower because its door opened toward the room instead of into the shower. The balcony was very clean when we arrived but wasn’t cleaned again. Since we used it daily, even a quick sweep would have been nice. The rooms weren’t cleaned until almost 4 pm, though it would have been useful to have them done by 3 pm so they’d be clean when we came back after being out for a few hours. All in all, it was good, and I’d rate it 7/10.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever visited, if not the worst. The staff were very disrespectful and racist. I noticed that the negative Google Maps comments were mainly about unfriendly, disrespectful staff, rather than the hotel or location. Please fix this!

The hotel and rooms are beautiful, and the service is excellent. My only negative is the thin walls, which let you hear the neighboring toilets flushing and taps and showers running.
