The location by the Templar Castle is fantastic, and the heating worked well. The towels were fluffy and looked nearly new, and the elevator was nice. The room itself was tiny, though, and the sheets were dirty. Those pink walls were awful, chipped and grubby. Water also leaked from both the toilet and faucet onto the floor. A repaint and some plumbing repairs would make this a nice hotel.

For 44 euro, it was decent. The sink kept dripping, and the towels had stains and holes. Busy evening spots are pretty close, so bring ear plugs.

The outdoor seating has a great view, and the staff were friendly. We loved the restaurant at the hostel, especially the fried calamari, the best we've ever had. The batatas bravas were delicious too. Highly recommend it!

We stopped in just for lunch, and the little square was a really pleasant place to sit outside. The restaurant looks cheap and cheerful, but the food is a step above that. For €18 each, the menu del dia was excellent value: mussels to start, then pork chops, padron peppers and chips, or salmon and chips, with a bottle of local wine. Excellent!

Ask for a balcony room facing the castle, since the hotel sits right across from its walls. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. It's above a bar, though we haven't had any noise trouble. Friendly staff and good value for money.
