The website and Booking.com photos don’t match what’s actually there. There’s nowhere to relax or spend time besides your room and the shared kitchen, and there’s no barbecue area. We didn’t get dinner, and breakfast for two was one mini croissant, two mini muffins, a little butter, and two small jams. We had to make our own coffee with a Nespresso-like machine, wash our own dishes, and there was no other service. I never met the hostess. The girl who checked us in said the hostess was working at another hotel and was getting instructions by phone from her, though she was supposedly “very friendly and helpful.” How anyone called this hotel-quality, I don’t know. This wasn’t Rosa Azul for sure. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Everything was clean, and the guy who showed me the room was very, very kind. €35 isn’t a bad price, but I hate feeling scammed, so I’m not staying here. I arrived alone and was told only a double room was left for €35, which I agreed to. Then they suddenly gave me a single room and still demanded €35. Google Maps lists a single room at 18-25€ and a double room at 36.5€ and up. The woman had said a double room for one night was 35€. At least she could have apologized for getting it wrong, but she acted like our conversation 20 minutes earlier never happened and kept insisting the single room cost 35€. Nobody was at the hotel when I arrived, so I waited 20 minutes.

José made us feel very welcome, showed us around, and took the time to answer our questions. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the facilities were excellent. The apartment and room were clean and very modern, and La Rosa Azul is not far off the camino. We had an excellent stay. Thank you very much!

We could walk to everything, even though the location is a little outside the old town center. Our hosts were quick to respond and helpful, and the kitchen was clean and well equipped. It was a very pleasant stay.

The room, bathroom, and shared kitchen were all very clean. I had a lovely dinner, with excellent fish, and the hosts brought such good vibes for the pilgrims. Muchas gracias!
