La Casa de la Abuela Milagros

I've stayed three times in the past five years, and La Casa de la Abuela remains my favorite hotel in Pravia, Asturias, Spain. The service is excellent, and the place is magnificent and relaxed. Trust me, peace and wellbeing are priceless, and this is a perfect place for that.

The common areas are great for unwinding, with a swing, ping-pong table, badminton, and lots of sun loungers and chairs for taking in the views. Mónica and Paloma deserve a special mention for being so attentive and for sharing great tips on routes, places, restaurants, and beaches. They work hard to make sure you have a wonderful break, and their app is really helpful too. The setting is idyllic, the accommodation is top-notch down to the details, and breakfast was plentiful and excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Paloma and Monica, the owners, were welcoming from the day we arrived. They put together a plan of places for us to visit and suggested spots for lunch and dinner. The house is in a beautiful setting, even better than the photos, and the renovation is excellent with clear attention to detail. It's peaceful, a lovely place to relax. This will be my first choice when I return to the area.

The rooms have their own names, like Light, Wisdom, Peace, and Love. The house is immaculate, super clean, and furnished and designed at a 10/10 level. Breakfast is deluxe and comprehensive, and Paloma and Mónica are very hospitable. The scenery is spectacular, there's ample parking, and it's well located, 3 km from Pravia. There's also a useful granary for meditation.
