Apartamentos Casablanca

The staff were professional and helpful, and it was great value for money. My partner and I stayed three nights, and the room was lovely, much more spacious than we expected, with a nice balcony.

The steep walk back up from the beach and main area was a lot, so we sometimes took a cab from the town centre, usually no more than 5 or 6 euros. The entrance is right by the steps down, and Agatha Christie steps are just opposite, with lovely views along the way. Our one-bedroom apartment on the second floor was perfect for us. It was cleaned daily, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We mostly used it as a base while exploring, but ate breakfast there twice. It was tasty and reasonably priced. We had a fabulous time and would absolutely stay at Casablanca again. Thanks so much for the welcome wine!

We got fantastic value for money, and the service at Apartamentos Casablanca Puerto de la Cruz was top-notch. It made for a delightful, relaxing stay, and I highly recommend it. The only thing I'd mark down a bit is the range of choices on the restaurant menu, which could be increased.

In the first week of December 2025, we stayed in this spacious one-bedroom apartment. It had a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering, plenty of wardrobe space, and comfortable beds, two singles pushed together as is typical in holiday hotels. The only awkward thing in the room was the TV, positioned at a right angle to the sofa. We chose B&B, and breakfast was really nice, with a selection from a set menu brought to the table rather than a buffet scrum. Lunch and dinner were available at reasonable prices, and drinks at the bar were well priced. We also had a laundry machine. The reception, lounge, bar, restaurant, and terrace were pleasant, clean, and comfortable, and the pool and sun terrace were nicely arranged. The complex has a colonial look, and all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Our spacious balcony overlooked the sea, but we were on the shaded side, so it got no sunshine. That might be a good thing in the summer heat. There was also some noisy building work opposite. The aparthotel is on higher ground, about a ten-minute walk downhill to town by steps or road. The return walk takes longer and is more strenuous. We managed fine as OAPs, though there's always the ten bob taxi option if needed. There was no air conditioning or heating, but we didn't need either in this mild season. A mini-market is right next door, and a large, well-stocked Mercadona and shopping mall are at the bottom of the hill. We'd come back, but try for a different part of the building.
