Apartamentos Bahia Playa

The buffet restaurant had a wide choice of high-quality food, and we were very happy with the half-board option. We spent seven days at Apartamentos Bahia Playa during the 2026 New Year holiday and really enjoyed the local food, the views, and the location. The apartment was roomy and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly, especially Daniel. We'd definitely come back.

We were there for five nights in late October 2024. The helpful staff stood out, especially Daniel, and there's someone at reception around the clock. The card key opens the outside doors too, so when you first arrive, someone has to let you in. Our bathroom and living room were large, and the kitchen was well equipped. The hotel has two big buildings with a pool between them, and the apartments have one or two bedrooms, with many privately owned. The buffet restaurant serves a good range of high-quality food, including some items cooked to order, like breakfast eggs. It's in a quieter part of town, with bars and restaurants nearby. Beaches are close as well, though we couldn't swim while we were there because the sea was polluted. We had a really enjoyable stay.

The restaurant food was good, with something different each day, and the fries were great. Getting to the beach takes only three minutes on foot, and the apartment is about 15 minutes from the centre of Santa Cruz. Daniel at reception was very helpful, and the woman there also gave useful recommendations and spoke English well. The apartment itself was really nice, with two rooms, a kitchen, a fridge, and everything else we needed. The only drawback was the bathroom door, which was very heavy to move.

Playa jardin is right in front, with bars and supermarkets nearby, and the centre is only a ten minute walk away. We loved our stay and plan to return next year. Daniel at reception was kind, efficient, and accommodating with our requests, and checked us into a lovely apartment. It had a nice terrace view, was well maintained and clean, and had all the facilities we needed. The restaurant team looked after us throughout the stay. Aday and Jessica were particularly nice and efficient, even when they were busy. Breakfast and dinner had a good variety, and I appreciated that the dinner menu changed every day during our longer stay. We especially liked the salad station, since we love salads. We stayed eight nights and would gladly have stayed longer. Thank you!
