Plus Fariones Suite Hotel

We upgraded to get a sea view, and it didn’t cost much. The food was excellent, and the price for the stay felt reasonable for what we got. The hotel is right among clothing and perfume shops, as well as a supermarket, so it’s a win if you like shopping. The staff were very friendly, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. On my birthday, after we came back from a morning out, I found cava and chocolates in the room. Such a lovely surprise, it really made my day when the weather wasn’t much to talk about. Thank you to the management team! The only downside was parking: it cost 16 euros a night on site, though there was street parking and a short walk back if you got there early enough.

We stayed for ten days and would highly recommend the hotel. It was kept very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We enjoyed the meals, with freshly cooked omelettes in the morning and fish or meat cooked to order in the evening, plus plenty of buffet choices. There was entertainment every night, though we liked some acts more than others, which is just personal taste. On Valentine's Day, Benito and Elsa performed during dinner. They were very good, especially Elsa, who had a beautiful voice. Later, the South African duo Code Red were good too. Being right on the beach suited us, and the sunbeds and umbrellas were reasonably priced, though they’re not hotel property. The hotel is also well placed for walks in either direction. We especially enjoyed the coastal walk to Puerto Calero. Well worth a visit!

We’re already booked for ten days next year, which probably says it all. There are plenty of loungers by the pool, the atmosphere is easygoing, and the pool bar makes great cocktails. The hotel is spotless and well looked after, with really friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast had an enormous range, and we ate elsewhere in the evenings because there are so many restaurants close by. It’s right by the beach, with shops, bars, and more places to eat just across the way. When my son turned 18, they left a card, chocolates, and champagne in his room. Such a lovely touch.

We’ve been coming to Lanzarote for a few years, but this was our first stay here. We’re already planning to come back in November. The rooms are beautiful, and the welcome was lovely, with champagne on arrival and our cases taken up to the room. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the maids did a great job with the later room cleans we requested. We just put the sign on the door and they never missed us. The food was amazing, with a huge choice, and we only ate out once all week because we fancied an Indian. We had bed, breakfast, and dinner, and couldn’t fault the restaurant food. The one thing I’d change is the draft lager selection. It would be nice to have Madri or San Miguel on tap. Thanks for such wonderful hospitality, Kellie and Ste, room 552 xxx
