SUITE ABORA RELAX a 500m DE LA PLAYA WIFI FIBRA

The apartment was lovely, but getting to the shops, beach and other places meant a walk, which was the one drawback for me.

The owner was kind and helpful, and came straight over to let us in when we got locked out. The apartment is in a very nice, convenient area, and we had a mostly positive three-night stay. But on arrival there was a horrible smoke smell, possibly soaked into the curtains, and even 50 air fresheners didn’t cover it. The microwave, mini-oven, fridge and washing machine looked as though some had never been cleaned. Some cutlery still had food stuck to it. The mattress was stained and its cover was full of hair. Making a bed isn’t enough to leave a room clean.

On our second night, someone broke in through a window and took my bag, including my wallet and documents. We had to move to the first hotel we could find. The internet had also gone out on the first evening, apparently because neighbors can accidentally switch yours off. When we checked in, dust covered the dresser and closet, so I had to clean them myself before putting my things away. We were refunded for four days, but not the cleaning fee. They said it was so we wouldn’t damage their Booking.com rating. If you want to avoid surprises, I’d look for another place.

A wonderful place! ❤️
