Villa Esperanza

We had a great stay in this large villa with seven bedrooms and a private pool. It’s in a quiet area but close to amenities, with a fantastic location.

We’re a family of eight and this villa has worked well as a base. It’s spacious, with lots of rooms, and much closer to the beach and town than we expected. The outside area is ideal for us: a nice pool, plenty of loungers, and sun throughout the day. The pool table is fun, though it needs new balls and cushions and the surface needs recovering. We’ve played on worse. The facilities include all the electrical items you need. The major white goods work okay, but really ought to be replaced. WiFi is very good everywhere except the upstairs bedrooms, where it doesn’t reach. We booked based on the photos and the claim that it was five minutes from the beach, and it’s pretty much as described. It’s a well situated villa, though dated. We thought we’d need to drive to Lidl, but never found it. The town supermarkets within walking distance are well stocked, so we shopped there or picked things up on the way back. Next time we wouldn’t bother hiring a car; you can just take a cheap taxi to and from the airport. You can only park one car in the drive because the gates have to stay locked, and street parking bays are very rarely free.

We had such a fantastic week at the villa recently that we loved it enough to book again for next year!

A lovely, spacious villa with everything you need for a great stay. It’s a little dated, but comfortable and very close to all amenities. We had a great time.
