There were all the amenities, but no kettle, so I had to boil water on the stove. The apartment was dirty and smelled of cigarettes, and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty too. The bedding smelled clean apart from the cigarette smell 😑 The washing machine was old but did a wash, then left bits of old rubber and glue from the machine on my clothes 😑

The room was clean and comfortable, and the balcony was roomy. It’s a lovely little hostal in Ribadeo’s main area, with everything close by. The woman who checked us in was kind and helpful.

They made us feel like guests in their own home, looking after us with such warmth. They didn’t speak English, but Google Translate made it easy to communicate, so language wasn’t a problem at all. We loved staying here and loved Ribadeo. If we return, we’ll definitely book this place again.

The owners were extremely kind, and the place was quiet and clean. There are facilities for washing and drying clothes, and a taxi to "La playa de las catedrales" is available for 12€ one way. The location is very good. I highly recommend staying here, it’s worth every penny, and La playa de las catedrales is a must!

Good value, clean and nice, with unlimited wi-fi. Laundry is available for an extra charge, and it’s especially handy for pilgrims taking a rest day. The only drawback was the dark room, which didn’t have enough light.
