I’ve been staying here for 10 days now, and I just wanted to share an honest account of my experience. This isn’t sponsored. The place is a fairly small local hotel, which I really like compared with a big multinational chain. The rooms are cozy and clean, although a bit old-looking, and I think that fits the surrounding town really well. My second-floor view is amazing, and I’m lucky to have two balconies. They’re spacious too, so the room feels open. The area is beautiful, and the beach is within walking distance. There’s no dinner or breakfast, but I don’t mind: you can buy food at the supermarket, and it gives you a reason to try breakfast and dinner at other nice places around town. The hotel has an elevator, and you can park your car around it. Staff are friendly and happy to help. The place has an old smell, but the nice kind. The beds are beautifully made every day, and I like the very retro shower. Everything in the bathroom is clean. I can’t say there’s anything I’m missing or unhappy with. I’m really pleased with my stay and wish the people who run it lots of success. If I come to somo again, I’ll definitely return. Best regards, Enzo 👍

The room was large, but really noisy, and there was no air conditioning. The toilet wasn’t usable...!

Its location near the beach and the center of Somo is the only good thing about this hotel. The facilities are very old, the walls are paper-thin, and the place is a real eyesore. The customer service is terrible and completely unprofessional. At check-in, they acted as though they were doing me a favor. They also misled me about the cancellation policy: I was told I could cancel for free, but later found out, to my surprise, that they don’t accept cancellations or give refunds. I booked well in advance because I thought I could switch if I found somewhere better. But despite booking with plenty of time, there were no free cancellations as advertised. Businesses like this are dying because they’re run by people who don’t appreciate the land they live on, and it shows.

We stayed just one night and felt comfortable and relaxed. If you have questions, I recommend calling customer service. The woman there is very friendly and helpful.
