You can get straight down to the beach, and the views are spectacular. The couple who run the place are very friendly, too. The house is beautiful and cool, the mattress is comfortable, and you fall asleep to the breeze and sound of the sea. There's also a lovely terrace for sitting and chatting. We're delighted with our stay!

The owner is charming and makes you feel at home. Our stay, especially the delicious breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea, more than made up for the mosquitoes and some humidity you'd expect in a farmhouse. Breakfast was made with natural, local products. The house sits on a hill among pine trees, with wonderful views of the turquoise sea. It's an old place with the feel of a traditional Catalan farmhouse, so don't expect modern amenities. That old-fashioned atmosphere is part of the appeal, and we quickly felt removed from the bustle of everyday life. The only sounds were birdsong, with a pleasant pine scent in the sea breeze. A short walk down a stone staircase through the pines and past well-maintained villas brings you to the pedestrian promenade. A few minutes farther along is a beautiful beach with fine sand and clear water, beside a picturesque fishing village with charming Andalusian-style streets and many excellent restaurants. Everything is easy to reach on foot, so leaving the car behind is ideal. I couldn't find anything else to fault.

A distinctive house where the sea meets the mountains. It's lovely to sit in the garden among the woods, looking out at the sea, and even spotting squirrels. So peaceful. The decor has a very personal touch, the food is good, and the hostess Mirella looked after us wonderfully. It's somewhere I'd return to.

Mireia was a very attentive host, and we felt from the moment we arrived that we wouldn't want to leave. It's a privileged spot on the Costa Dorada, with pine trees and the sea all around, and a lovely place to switch off. We'll definitely come back.
