We had a spacious, comfortable room and were glad we booked one with a terrace. Breakfast was excellent each morning, and the woman serving us was so helpful and friendly, making sure we had everything. I meant to ask her name. Carmen at reception also made us feel welcome and shared lots of sightseeing information. Everyone we met on staff was lovely. We loved our time here, and if we come back to Roses, this will be our go-to hotel.

We stayed a few nights and were really happy with it. The staff were very accommodating, the location is perfect, and breakfast is such good value. Hard to beat for the price in Roses!

Clean, comfortable, and really good value for money. We had a great stay and would recommend it.

Parking was a pain. You can pay to park at the waterfront, or it’s better to reserve a spot through the hotel. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear pretty much everything from other rooms on the same floor. Breakfast starts at 8, too late if you’re going on a diving excursion. The room itself was very clean and nice, looked new or recently renovated, and breakfast was very good, including eggs. It’s right in central downtown Roses.

We had a lovely holiday at Carmen Hotel. It’s a little hotel that’s been completely renewed, and it was very clean and comfortable, with a great breakfast and very good service. The people at reception were especially kind. The beach is only a two-minute walk and free. We also visited Cadaques, Cap Creus and its little bays, and the Gaudí museum in Figueres, about a 30-minute drive away. Gozos was our favorite restaurant.
