The house was beautiful and well equipped, with plenty of beds, and it’s in a very quiet area. We had a wonderful weekend there with friends.

It’s a lovely house if you want to be somewhere secluded, completely on your own and surrounded by peace. The access road is pretty rough, though, so a high-clearance vehicle is best. Getting there in a regular car is tricky. The house could do with a thorough clean. Also, the wooden floor creaks a lot. If people go to bed at different times, walking to the bedrooms or bathroom can wake those who are already asleep.

Juan was especially attentive, answering all our questions about the house and looking after what we needed. The place was clean and well maintained, with good stoves and heating, and a roomy, enclosed barbecue area. We spent a fabulous weekend with friends, surrounded by nature and complete quiet. It felt like a real detox. We’ll definitely come back.

For real quiet and a taste of life in an abandoned village, this is a beautiful place to disconnect. The house is in excellent condition and works well for families. Bring all the food you’ll need, since there are no shops nearby. It’s a peaceful haven.
